Less typing after clinic. Nothing leaves your computer.

Speech recognition and note drafting run on your own machine. You talk to the patient, review the draft, and keep control of every word.

Patient audio that never leaves the room

The speech model runs on your Mac or PC. It keeps working when the internet doesn't, and nothing is uploaded to a cloud service to be transcribed.

Everything Local Assistant does

One page per feature, each describing what the desktop app does today.

Private by design

Your patients' data stays yours.

The engine is open source. Here is how we handle your data.

Patient audio never reaches us

When you work locally, open models transcribe on your own computer. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

0%of audio stored by us

No recordings kept on our servers

Local mode never uploads audio, so there is nothing for us to keep. We will state clearly if you ever turn on a cloud option.

Training on your data
Off, always

We do not train models on your consultations

Your recordings and notes are not used to train models. They never leave your machine in the first place.

Open-source engineMIT licencePublic code

Do not take our word for it

The engine behind Local Assistant is open source under the MIT licence, so you or your IT team can check how it handles data.

Evidence-based, privately

Look up the evidence without exposing your patient.

Ask a clinical question from your notes. Doctify searches PubMed for you, and only a de-identified question you have read and approved leaves your computer.

  1. Ask, or add your notesType a question or pick one or more notes. Nothing is sent yet.
  2. Identifiers removed on your computerNames, phone numbers, ID and record numbers, addresses and exact dates are stripped locally before anything else happens.
  3. You read the exact textYou see, and can edit, the words that would be sent. Automatic removal can miss something, so this check is yours.
  4. Only PubMed is askedAfter your click, the de-identified question goes to PubMed (US National Library of Medicine). You get the published sources: title, journal, year.

Doctify shows sources, not answers. You read them and apply your own clinical judgement.

Frequently asked
questions

Something else on your mind? Request early access and reply to our first email.

Yes. Speech recognition and note drafting run on your own computer, so it keeps working offline. That is how the product is designed.
Nowhere. Audio is processed on your device and is not uploaded to a cloud service. We will publish exactly what is and isn't stored.
It writes a structured draft note from the conversation. You review and edit it, and you decide what goes in the record. It does not replace your clinical judgement.
Accuracy depends on the language, the accent and the room. We are measuring it on real consultations with early users and will share the results. Tell us your language when you join.
Both. A native desktop app for Mac and for Windows, not a browser tab.
You can copy the note into any record system, and dictation types as keystrokes wherever your cursor is. We are confirming specific integrations with early users, so tell us what you use.
No. The founder offer is a one-time payment of $89 for lifetime access, with no subscription.
Nothing. Reserving a spot is free and no card is needed. We email you to confirm your spot before you pay the one-time $89.
Because audio is processed on your device and stays there, there is far less to protect. Compliance depends on how you use it, so we will share our details in plain language for you to check against your own policies. An optional mode lets you send one feature at a time to OpenAI or Mistral with your own API key. It is off by default, shows a warning first, and should only be used under an agreement with the provider that covers health data, such as a BAA.
